Do you know of any transcription of this speech so I can translate it into portuguese? Please reply to address above.

    Congratulations on the site!

Has Noam written any books on Libertarian Socialism?

Yes and no. You can find a lot of interviews where he discusses anarchism through the YouTube playlists we’ve complied: http://www.youtube.com/profile?user=LilAlexInWonderland&view=playlists

What you’re probably looking for is his book, Chomsky on Anarchism, which is a collection of essays/interviews. (There’s a preview on Google Books, but I heavily recommend picking it up. You can find a cheap used copy on Amazon pretty easily, I presume.) His work on media (the propaganda model) is really where his analysis of the State shines most. You can also find videos on this blog searching “chomsky video” that would take you to a couple of discussions on GoogleVideo that you won’t find in our YouTube playlists.

I have to say I am not very attracted to the Libertarian Socialist side. I lean more toward the Anarcho-capitalist point of view. I really want to get to a place where people are left completely alone so long as they cause no direct harm to others, though I do not see it forthcoming any time soon. I am also intrigued by volutaryism. I will check with your site regularly though as we do seem to have many attitudes in common.
